Laybarge LB200 for Stolt Offshore

A good recent example of the possibilities of the Van of the Well Group is the modification of 4 cranes carried out onboard the LB200. The production of the required parts was carried out by Van Der Wel Machinery & Construction. There was only 6 weeks available in which to complete this project with a total of 2500 man hours required by the machining and construction departments to complete their tasks.

The disassembling of the old parts and reassembly of the replacement parts was carried out by van Der Wel Montage. A total of 4000 hours was required by Van Der Wel Montage to complete the project.
The short space of time available in which to complete this project shows the importance of being able to keep everything in house when needing to deliver on the agreed date.
